Ed McGrath is running for the state senate to represent the people of Ashland, Framingham, Franklin, Holliston, Hopkinton, Medway and Natick.  He wants to be your state senator, because state government has failed to address the critical problems facing our communities and the people of Massachusetts.  Ed believes that the state’s fiscal crisis and the repeated ethical lapses of state officials are symptoms of a broken state government.  Ed will fight to get the state moving forward by focusing on the “Three E’s”: Employment, Ethics and Education.  He will get results by standing up to the insiders on Beacon Hill and demanding accountability.

Ed and his wife, Tricia, have lived in Framingham for 20 years.  They are raising 2 daughters.

Ed, an attorney, is a member of the Board of Trustees of Framingham State College.  He was actively involved in the Stop the Pike Hike Coalition and was an original signer of the Initiative Petition to Close the Tolls.  Ed served on the Framingham Human Relations Commission and was a volunteer coach and age director for the Framingham United Soccer Club.  Ed is a graduate of Middlebury College and Suffolk University Law School.
